So i was at Cambodia fr a week
I thought it would be a long week
kinda boring at first and i was reluctant to go
bt i just went wif my ncc buddies and the interators..
had 4 teachers wif us..

18 u noe..So fr the night i didnt sleep much..Had only a few hours of sleep and then
gt ready to go to the airport..Brought along a haversacsack..I tink i looked like a turtle..haha..reached the airport around 4am and met my friends..my family came along..
then we had our briefing,checked in our luggage,got our air tickets and went in..
Wished my family goodbye and off i go..went inside,burger king,used the available laptops fr a while..and then we realised that the gate was closing..ishh..so we ran ON the travellator,pushing our luggage..haha quite a run..bt then we were in time..Phew..after that we went into the plane..hmm..it was quite dark outside..
So i got a wing seat (= and its great..our flight was 2hrs so i slept fr a while..
Woke up and saw the sunrise..niceeee..but it was glaring..
when we reached Siem reap, i thought that the place was air conditioned but it was actually the climate..it was cold..grrr..and my palms turned cold..
then we boarded a bus to our guest house for our 6 days stay..Hello Paradise Guesthouse..
So we checked in and then off we went for our lunch..We visited the villagers near our restaurant..the water looked dirty..ish..and i cant imagine them drinking frm it without suffering any health effects..sad sad..
the mosque was just beside our restaurant..i didnt expect to eat familiar malay food..but i tell you the mango was damn niceee..sweet to the max..
then we headed to the temple since we were early and had to wait for the District Gorvernor..the temple was nt fully completed yet..bt their paintings were beautiful..colourful..Then we went to the memorial..saw those skeletons..skulls..its was scary how these people were tortured..ouch..So next stop is the place fr amputees..the effects of land mines were horrifying..most lost their limbs and had to have artificial ones..grr..i love my legs <3.. style="font-weight: bold;">19 Dec 2008
I was late..haha..sry leh..i was the last to wake up in my room..So we had to rush down but luckily we were excused..sry fr waiting guys..had some baloon sculpting sessions..and reuben taught us how to create a dog..and i made two of them ^^.. lovedogs haha..The drive was approximately 2 hrs..looked out the window of the bus..mmm..quite nice..a flat and peaceful place..and once we reached the skool we had to carry out our duties..i had to teach them balloon sculpting..it was rather difficult since there was a language barrier..i cant speak khemr..haha..so we looked like idiots in front of them..it was quite a challenge to communicate in a foreign language..looking at the childrens attire,they probably had only one piece of uniform for the week..it was stained badly..sad sad..and after that we went to the market..and learnt hw to bargain..and some of us were scammed badly huh..haha..too bad!had our dinner and went back to our guesthouse..and sleeppp..

Sry sry im late again..haha..and i had to pay a fine of 5USD! wow..a lot u noe just fr beaing late..grrr..went to this place to perform our dikir barat adn malay dance..and we sucked..really..in the morning..i played the percussions wif chee peng and reuben..it was rather disappointing..we then returned to the Sok San school..built a toilet and footsal field..the toilet looks nice..so i tested it out..okok la eh.....
haha..i had to teach them skipping..and i think i made a fool of myself..the children laughed at me..i cant skip!haha and most of them were better at it than me..
then went to the health centre..it was small..unlike our hospitals in singapore..and its very far away frm the village..imagine having to travel that far just to get medication..some might die before even reaching the place )=..had a change..and we went to perform..we rock the night yea!wooo!haha..it was great..alah eh wah...woots..
then off to the night market..it was brightly lit..nicee..bt then the things sold there were the same as the ones in the previous markets..theres nt much to buy..took a "tuk tuk"..fun!!!were like racing..and i kena hit by a motorcycle..ouch..so..no reflection at night..we slept..gdnite!

it was a sunday and the children came to school..we fed them..and they were desperate fr food..how heart aching..ahhh..my heart!haha..and had the handover ceremony..where we donated some stuffs..Sok San OI!missed the childrens voices..cute cute..So..byebye Sok San..gd luck yea (=

this has gt to be interesting..were going to visit Angkor Wat,one of the seven wonders of the world..bt before that we went to the orphanage..looked around and it was beautiful..the place was well-funished..and the houses looked comfortable..a guitar caught my eye though ;)..we performed again..dikir barat..and the performed something fr us..nice of them..handed over some donated items..and off to Angkor Wat..The place was colossal..huge..we went to the Bayons first..and mdm siti gt lost
haha!it was easy to find the way u noe..then to Angkor Thom where they said the film Tomb Raider was shot..its a nice place..monuments after monuments..ruins..classic..and then to Angkor Wat,the biggest of all temples..the staircase was very steep..scary..but we managed to climb up..and jumped down..fun u noe..haha..when it was getting dark we left the place..and saw the sunset..ooooooo..haha..and the girls there tried desperately to sell their bangles to us..sry ehh..

Siem Reap-Phnom Penh..6 hrs ride..but it took more!grr
haha my ass hurts frm sitting..listened to music..i fell asleep..stopped to have our lunch and reached the place around 4 +..Went to the prison where the people were tortured..imagine kena tortured..ishhhhh...ouchhh..at night we went to the shopping centre..wow..last day then we go..my money all gone lehhhh..on snacks...so i didnt buy much..gt a pair of jeans though..had our dinner..where u all sing fr me a nice song ehh..haha

haha..stayed at Mohaleap Guest house..and the tv channels was...ishhh..unexpected..bt i slept since i was tired..ferrero rocher was nice ^^

Byebye cambodia..And hello singapore..returned home..and i gt a wing seat again..hw great..reached singapore at around 12?singapore air smells great..haha..family came to fetch me..Hugs and kisses (=..haha its gd to be back home..gonna miss Cambodia..i tink..BYEBYE!
